FOR REVIEWERS & CREATORS

A small introduction to Spark.

Facts you can check, not a “best chat app” claim. Prepared by Spark Cam Chat · September 16, 2026.

In one sentence

Spark Cam Chat is an independent early-beta website where adults 18 and older can meet through U.S.-focused random video or text chat, choose a region, and save mutual friends.

Product facts

Adults 18+ in the U.S., open to romance or a relationship. Nudity and sexual content are prohibited.
Free
Random video and text chat, U.S. and regional matching, and saving accepted mutual friends. Guest start; no payment card required.
Spark Plus
$1.99/month, automatically renewing until canceled. State and gender filters, sending private messages, and starting friend video calls. Reading received messages and answering friend calls remain free.
Availability
Early beta with a growing, potentially very small pool. Compatible people must be online at the same time. No promised wait time or match.
Location
Optional and self-reported. No GPS verification. Filters do not prove where a person lives.
Safety limits
Leave, block, and report controls. Reports are queued for operator review—not live human monitoring or automatic video screening. Spark does not record calls; a partner may capture their screen.
Reconnection
Mutual acceptance required. Guest access depends on the original browser. An account enables cross-device access. Keep the site open for incoming calls; messages last up to seven days.

An honest review checklist

  1. Walk through guest entry and compare text with video permissions.
  2. Check which geographic filters are free and which require Plus.
  3. Describe your actual wait and test conditions; do not treat a single visit as a universal result.
  4. Test saving a friend with a consenting adult participant. Do not record or publish strangers or their messages.
  5. Explain the safety limitations and renewing subscription alongside the benefits.

Independent coverage is welcome; positive coverage is not required. Do not imply affiliation with OmeTV, Monkey, or Emerald Chat. Spark Cam Chat is a separate service. No verified audience-size or “safest” claims are offered.

Make a demo without exposing anyone

Use the public first-visit walkthrough to explain the flow without entering a chat or activating a camera. Homepage portraits are illustrative, not live users or testimonials. If filming a real conversation, obtain every participant’s clear permission first.
